GOD WOULD LIKE THAT!!

New Feature starting this week! To listen to the messages, as well as read them, click on the "play" button above.

As the Apostle Paul greeted the church at Corinth, let me address you. II Corinthians 1:2-3:

“Grace be to you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort.”

Everyone is welcome in this, your 24/7, week long online church service. If you have entered into this place, you have been lifted up to God in prayer. How can I say that? Because it is true, my friends. Everyday I pray for every prayer request and for everyone who looks in and reads the anointed message for the week. Do you need salvation from your sins? I am praying for you. Do you need a job? I am praying for you. Do you need finances to pay your bills? I am praying for you. Do you need help in your marriage? I am praying for you. Do you need physical healing for your body? I am praying for you. Do you need mental healing such as anxiety, depression and other forms of mental problems? Yes, my friends, Bro. Bob prays for you each and everyday.

This online ministry is dedicated to helping you. We preach the only one-hundred percent solution to any and every problem of life that you may have and that solution is Jesus Christ and Him crucified. As Paul stated in the above scripture, God is the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. Does anyone out there need the mercy of God in your life? Truth be known, we all do, don't we? Anyone need comfort in your situation of life? Then you need God, my friends. Man can't give you the comfort that the God of all comfort can. That comfort will come only if you will or have accepted God's only begotten Son as Lord and Savior of your life.

This ministry wants you to have a beautiful life on this earth and beyond. Salvation (eternal life), physical and mental healings and deliverance from demonic oppression are all available to you through Jesus Christ. You might say “Bro. Bob, I am saved or born-again, but it doesn't seem that too much is different. What is wrong? I don't want to be a hypocrite. I feel that I love God, but I seem to keep talking and acting the same as I always did. What is the problem? What can I do about it?” To be honest, I would need to talk with you personally to find out what your true situation is, but in general, I will address two possibilities.

One: When you thought you gave your life to Christ you did it out of emotion or pressure, or to please a loved one or friend. You said the “sinner's prayer” but there was not a real conviction of sin or even a real belief that God raised Jesus from the dead and that Jesus died as a substitute for you. You talked of repentance from sin, knowing you would not turn away from it. It seemed real because you cried or felt better, but in fact, there was no conversion at all. There is good and bad news in this possibility. The good news is, you are not a hypocrite. You are just exactly what you were before this experience and that is also the bad news. You are still lost and dead spiritually. To put it bluntly, you are still on your own. Of course, this is still subject to change, my friend. Salvation is a very sincere experience, but you must be sincere to receive it. I believe God is reaching out to you right now through this online church. I believe if God was not urging you to come to Him, you would not be here. God loves you and wants you to come to Him just as you are, but no more games.

Salvation is a life changing experience...a life changing experience for the better. God's desires will become your desires and He will equip you to make the change using His strength. Now!! If this is you I'm talking to, e-mail me today at BrotherBob@TheSpiritofWisdom.org. I will counsel you and lead you to Jesus or you may contact your local pastor and tell him you need Jesus and ask him to help you. May God bless you and may you come to Him.

The second possibility is a better option, but still needs work. When you were drawn by the Spirit of God to accept the gift of salvation that God offers you through His Son Jesus, you may have truly done these things: You may have asked God to forgive your sins. You have indicated true repentance and asked God to cleanse you. You have asked Jesus into your heart and have confessed Jesus as Lord of your life. As much as you can, you believe in your heart God raised Jesus from the dead as a perfect substitute for you, the perfect sacrifice for your sin. You truly know God has saved you. God has given you the desire to be baptized and is giving you the desires of your heart. In other words, God's desires will become your desires. So why are you so perplexed? Remember the original question? Why, if sincerely saved, do you find it so difficult to change habits, lifestyles, thoughts, desires and so forth? One reason may be you need to renew your mind to the Word of God. Find out through the direction Book of life how to live the life of a true believer and be willing to do it. Paul puts it best in his letter to the believers in Rome. Please turn with me to Romans 12:1-2.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: But be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Also turn to Ephesians 4:22-24.

“That ye put off concerning the former conversation, the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”

There it is, my friends. Renew your mind to the Word of God. Speak what God speaks. Before salvation you may have thought adultery was okay, yet God says it isn't – so you say the same. Present yourself as God would present you. Do not delight yourself in sin anymore. You don't have to, you know. As a child of God, you have dominion or control over sin. Impure and lustful thoughts and pornography no longer control you, you control them. Addictions have no dominion over you, you have dominion over them. You are now free to be free from sin. Do not be ashamed of your new found freedom and liberty in Christ. Tell everyone you know. Live life with gusto in Jesus. God would like that!! He really would!!

God Bless You,
Bro. Bob
