HEALING IS FOR TODAY... PART 2

The Spirit of Wisdom Ministries is dedicated to spreading the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. There are benefits and consequences to our decision to accept Jesus into our hearts and lives, aren't there? Last week we started a series of just one of the many benefits. “Healing is for Today” - is not just a good title to a message, my friends. It is a blessing and benefit of salvation through Jesus Christ and what he did for us on the cross. The Bible is very clear about that. Yet, there seems to be doubt, unbelief and confusion regarding this very important subject. Let's explore this a bit. But first, let me welcome everyone to your 24/7 online church service. We exclude no one from entering this place.

I am going to repeat two scriptures we used last week. Believe me, they bear repeating. The first is our foundational scripture for this series, Isaiah 53:5. This scripture referring to the only begotten son of God, Jesus Christ of Nazareth was written seven-hundred and twelve years before the birth of Jesus. But my oh my – what a prophesy that has come true! Isaiah 53:5 says:

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

The salvation God offers us through his son Jesus is a complete salvation, my friends. A completed work that saves our souls and heals our bodies and our spirit. What a wonderful God we serve. The second scripture we are repeating and focusing on this week is Psalms 103:2-3:

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.”

It always amazes me when people relate to me they believe God forgave all their sins but the same people say that they do not believe healing is for today. If that is true, we would have to take the second half of this Psalm and tear it out of the Bible and throw it away. What do you think God would think of that?

The truth is there is plenty of blame to go around when it comes to unbelief. Man from the beginning of time has either questioned or disputed who God is, what he has done for us and whether the Bible is even true or not. The sad part of all of this is that even the churches as we know them today are not guiltless of these charges, are they? Why do you say that, Bro. Bob? Because, unfortunately it is true. Organized religion is broken up into denominations, each one with its own seminaries, teaching their own views in opposition to each other regarding matters of faith and doctrine. This includes whether healing is even still a valid teaching. This is an abomination to God.

You know folks, often times healing and faith are linked together and in fact all the teachings of God should be accepted by faith, shouldn't they? We as believers should never go by just what we see, hear or feel, because most things we see in the world today is in direct opposition to the Word of God. Faith in God and his word (The Bible) will lead and guide us to a great result for our lives. I guess if faith is so important, regarding our belief in God and his ways, we should find out how faith comes our way shouldn't we? Turn with me to Romans 10:17:

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”

And therein lies the rub, my friends. This ministry has stated more than once we will only give to you the divine Word of truth that God gives to us. The reason for this is to build your faith in God through his son, Jesus Christ. God has revealed to us through his Word that healing is for today. Scripture after scripture proves this to be correct. That is why we challenge and yes, even condemn false teaching in this area. We look around us and we see believer after believer who are sick in body or mind and have no idea, no faith, and not even a concept that Jesus bore their sickness and disease for them. That Jesus took stripes on his back for their healing is not even remotely known to them. Ladies and gentlemen, millions of believers all over the world have no faith to be healed because they are taught in their churches that healing passed away with Jesus and is not for today. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. But, if they do not hear the truth of the word regarding healing, how will they be healed? My advice – consider removing yourself from any church that doesn't teach healing or that doesn't build your faith by preaching the Word of God regarding this subject. But hold on, there are also denominations that teach healing but link it with money, works and even condemnation on those who are not healed and that also is an abomination to God.

The truth is salvation is a personal relationship. The Word of God will speak to you personally. There are many good pastors and churches that will help you in these areas, but bottom line – it is up to you to search out what is true. Ask God to give you eyes to see and ears to hear. Because salvation is a personal relationship, we as believers have no right to judge others regarding healing. Why is one person receiving their healing while another isn't? The truth is no one but God knows. The “faith people” will tell you it is because of your lack of faith that you did not receive your healing. Really? How do they know? You know, Jesus wherever he went healed many people without one time questioning their faith. To be sure, there were times when he stated they had great faith, but many more times he did not.

The judgmental people will say it is because of a particular sin in your life that is keeping you from your healing. That may be so, but let's check out God's point of view in John 9:1-3:

“And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: But that the works of God should be made manifest in him."

The apostles were quite sure sin was in the blind man's life. But Jesus said, not so. Later on, the man was healed to the glory of God. The point to be made here is this - Healing is for today. Because of Jesus and the finished work of the cross; why, when, where or how the manifestation of that healing comes is not up to us. Therefore, we have no business judging or condemning those who are not walking in their healing yet. Do not let our own self righteousness drive God's people out of our churches. Rather, encourage them. God loves them and their healing is on the way. If all of our churches taught the truth of the Word, faith would be built and many more people would receive their healing. Our prayer for you is that you receive your healing. We are believing with you and for you. Don't give up!! Speak the Word of God to yourself. Call the devil a liar and don't listen to anyone who tells you healing is not for today. To be continued..........

God Bless You,
Bro. Bob

HEALING IS FOR TODAY

Let's all turn to Isaiah 53:5. This scripture is referring to Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of our heavenly Father, the creator of all. Ready? Let's read together:

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

This will be the foundational scripture for this week's message – entitled – Healing is for Today. Welcome to all who enter into this week's 24/7, week long, online church service. Everyone is welcome in this place. Let's look at this scripture carefully. Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, pertains to the manner in which he died and why. Jesus was not wounded nor did he die for his transgressions, simply because he had none. But, because of the Father's love for us, Jesus took on the burden and price of our sin. Transgressions means having turned away from God and following the ways of men, Satan and the world. In that state, we can't walk in the blessings and benefits God desires us to have. These benefits include freedom from sin, guilt and condemnation. His benefits also include love, mercy, grace and healing for our bodies and minds. Thank God for the love he has shown us.

The phrase – he was bruised for our iniquities, means all that he suffered was for us. The chastisement of our peace was upon him – means that the only way to restore peace to man's mind, body and spirit, is through Jesus Christ and the finished work of the cross. The whole purpose in Jesus' coming to the earth was to die. His death and resurrection are the whole foundation of the one and only salvation that is acceptable to God. In this reading, it clearly shows healing is for today and with his stripes, we are healed. Glory to God!

It does not matter how many preachers or churches teach that healing passed away when Jesus died. God has not changed his mind, my friends. Jesus took stripes on his back for our healing and it's time we get back to believing God's word and not fables of men. There is not one scripture in the Bible that indicates that God does not want his people well spiritually and physically. Jesus was always meant to be our example on how life should be lived and what we should believe about him and what he did for us.

Let's look at some Jesus scriptures. The picture will become more clear as we turn to him and the truth of the word. Turn with me to Matthew 4:23-24. Remember, Jesus is the example.

“And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. And his fame went throughout all Syria: And they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with diverse diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatic, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.”

How many know God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow? Do you really think God would have Jesus going place to place, healing all manner of sickness (both physical and mental), if it was not his will that healing would be with us always? I believe if Jesus were physically walking the earth today he would be in Detroit, Michigan, in New York City, in the South and the West and all stations in between. And guess what he would be doing? He would be restoring love, mercy and grace. He would be preaching, teaching and healing. That is what God desires his children who have the Spirit of God in them to be doing. How do you know that, Bro. Bob? I know it because the Bible says so. Remember the Bible?

Jesus himself tells us that as believers, we are to do as he did. Turn with me to John 14:12. Let's read it together.

“Verily, verily, I say unto you. He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do: Because I go unto my Father.”

Oh believer, do not be deceived. God has not left us powerless. The church in the Book of Acts knew that. Their belief was that God said what he meant and meant what he said. Jesus said we would do the same works as he did. Did that not include healing? Of course it did and it still does today. Peter and John believed the words of Jesus, didn't they? Look at Acts 3:1-7.

“Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, (now get this) look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: And immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.”

The man then began to jump, walk and praise God, for surely he had been healed. Ladies and gentlemen, Peter and John had no more in them than we have in us today. They had the Spirit of God in them and they knew the power that is in the name of Jesus. This online church believes, as Peter and John believed, that they could do the same works Jesus did. And guess what? They took no glory for themselves, but gave God all the glory.

I would ask you to read Acts Chapter 3 for yourselves. The people were amazed at this miracle healing and began to look at Peter and John as something special, but Peter set them straight. Acts 3:12:

“And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? Or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?”

Peter went on to say in Acts 3:16:

“And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.”

In other words, Peter was saying to God be the glory, not us!! If more preachers would give God glory instead of basking themselves in praise, more healings would take place today. This message will be just one of many messages regarding the healing power of God and how and why it is for today. God wants us to know and understand his benefits that he has provided for us through his Son, Jesus Christ; healing being just one of many. God does not want us to forget all of his benefits. Please, turn to Psalms 103:2-3:

“Bless the Lord, Oh my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.”

Preachers, teachers, churches please do not disregard this Psalm. It is the Word of God, isn't it? There is much more to come on this subject, but right now, there is praise to be given to God for his faithfulness.

You all know this online church stresses prayer, don't you? We constantly ask you to pray for the requests at the right side of the message. Today, to back up our message, we are very happy to report that your prayers for Tissy Miller, who was suffering from cervical cancer, have been answered. She received the good news this past week, that the cancer is gone and there is no trace of cancer left in her body. Praise God for his healing power!! Tissy we are so thankful God has answered the prayers of all who have been praying for you and your family. God Bless You!! Yes, my friends, healing is for today.

God Bless You,
Bro. Bob

New Prayer Requests:

Please pray for Nancy Stewart. Nancy lives just outside of Detroit, Michigan. She has just been diagnosed with liver cancer. We ask for urgent prayer, for a total and complete healing and we thank God for healing Nancy and we look forward to the good report.

Jessica Summerlin of the Treasure Coast in Florida is battling ovarian cancer. We ask everyone to pray very seriously for a complete and total healing.

We bind up the spirit of death and cancer and we command that they leave and give up all control over Nancy and Jessica. Jesus is the name above all names and that includes cancer.

Huge praise report:

We thank God for healing Tissy Miller from cervical cancer. This is an answer to the prayers of many that have lifted their voices to God in support of Tissy. The good news, Tissy is now free and clear of all cancer. She is healed and we thank God for it.

ARE YOU THIRSTY?

God is good and worthy of all praise. A truth not to be disputed!! To those of us that have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, this truth is ingrained in us. We recognize God's mercy and grace that he has so freely given us through his Son, Jesus Christ. We can say, as the Psalmist did, in Psalms 42:1:

“As the hart (deer) panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee O God.”

We welcome everyone to your 24/7 week-long online church service. No one is excluded from this place. You know the deer in the forest searches out the water brooks because they are thirsty and only the clear-flowing water of the streams can quench their thirst. We as believers thirst after the love, mercy, and grace of God. Our souls cry out to our Father. We are so thankful he saved us from our sin. We continually praise him inwardly and outwardly because he has redeemed us and we will live eternally with him. We thank you and praise you, Lord, for your goodness and mercy that endures forever.

The beauty of this is that God's love doesn't just come to us, but is extended to all mankind. God created us all and as his creatures, he loves us.

God's desire is for all his human creation to come to him through his only begotten Son and be elevated from just being his creation to being a part of his family. Unbeliever, God loves you that much!! As humans, it doesn't take much to look around at this very ungodly world to realize there is something better than this. Am I correct?

You know, Peggy Lee once sang a song titled, “Is that all there is?” It pointed out some things we all know. You acquire fame and yet question, is this all there is? You obtain wealth, mansions, promotions, and then realize, is this all there is? You raise a beautiful family. You have a beautiful home with a white picket fence, and a manicured lawn, yet in your heart and mind, the question remains, is this all there is? My friends, that is your soul, crying out to God for fulfillment in your life. Contrary to country club Christian thinking, the soul of the lost cries out to God just as the soul of the believer does.

Truth be known, but sometimes forgotten, we believers were once lost also, weren't we? Yes, my good people, thirst is known by and in all of God's creation. The question is, what can quench the thirst? The answer is God and only God!! How? By his Son, Jesus. Let's look at some Bible scriptures to back this up. In Psalms 63:1, David cries out to God but this should also be our cry.

“O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry thirsty land, where no water is.”

Notice, as believers, we can cry out, “Oh God, you are my God!” What a tremendous realization. God has made a way, through his Son, by way of the cross for us to proclaim Himself, as our Heavenly Father. The scripture points out, the best time to seek God is early!! I have found out, my day goes by much better when I seek God early in the morning. Just to say, “Thank you, Lord, for another day of life.” To acknowledge the Lord by saying, “This is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it.” Today is the day of salvation. I will walk in that salvation with all its benefits and I will be accountable at the end of the day.

When I do that, God fills me with living water (His Spirit) and waters the thirst. Truth is!! This is what helps me live in a dry and thirsty land, which has separated itself from the living waters, which is the Holy Spirit of God. This land is becoming drier and drier without God, yet our souls still cry out, for it knows, only God can help us.

As I am delivering this message to you this week, my heart is filled with love for you. I know many of you are going through trials and tribulations. Things look bleak and even impossible. That is the reason this ministry is here, my friends. I am here to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord!! God is the God of the possible. Heed the cry of your soul, my friends. Turn to God now. My unbelieving friends, this message is for you also.

I feel your despair. I was there!! My soul cried out with thirst for the things of God. Finally, after many years of struggling on my own, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, and the process of the Holy Spirit working in my life, flooding me with living water (the Holy Spirit) that continues to this day. Each day becomes better and better because I know God is watering my thirst for him. But, this is not for me only. It is for you!! Listen to me!! If you are reading or listening to this message today, God is ready to meet your soul's thirst. Will you let him do that?

Jesus explained this well in John 4:13 & 14. He is talking about the Holy Spirit. Here is what John 4:13 &14 says:

“Jesus answered and said unto her, (answering a question) whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again (talking of natural water): But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst: but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into ever lasting life.”

Notice that Jesus says, “whosoever.” That means exactly what he says. Accept Christ into your heart and life and your Spiritual thirst will be satisfied. Why is this? Because, as Jesus said, the water that Jesus gives you, (The Holy Spirit) a well of water that will continue springing up unto you, unto ever lasting life. That is why I said, the living water is a process of filling you unto eternal life. How great is that?

Jesus is very clear in these scriptures, isn't he? He is talking to whosoever will listen and receive him. No one can accuse Jesus of discrimination. This is a message of hope and salvation to anyone that will listen and respond to the call of the Lord Jesus Christ. Are you thirsty? Turn with me to Mathew 5 & 6. Jesus will meet your thirst.

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness; for they shall be filled.”

There you are, my friends. Seek God's righteousness imputed by Christ, upon faith in his finished work. Thirst no more. Let God give you living water.

God Bless You,

Brother Bob

THIS IS GODLY COUNSEL

The Spirit of Wisdom Ministries is dedicated to serving you in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray for you daily. We encourage you to invite this ministry to pray for your needs to be met. All prayer requests really are prayed for. This ministry believes in salvation from your sin through the precious blood of Jesus. We believe in healing for today. What kind of healing, Bro. Bob? Healing for your physical body and for your mind and spirit.

We also believe for your deliverance from oppression by evil spirits. Oh yes, my friends, there are evil spirits on this earth with one mission to carry out. That mission being to cause you to be separated from God through sickness, fear, guilt and every negative thing that Jesus died to deliver us from. But, Bro. Bob, I'm a Christian. Really?? Do you think the devil cares about that? His mission is to destroy you and your relationship with Christ. We as a ministry of Jesus Christ are here to spoil his mission by enlightening you to the Word of God. The Bible is the book of life!!

This ministry always emphasizes everyone is welcome in our services. We minister to anyone who will accept our help and guidance. God has given us a special love for you. This week I would like to talk with you about our status with God. Psalms 1 gives us some insight into this. It also gives great advice about who we should and should not take counsel/advice from.

We plan on going verse by verse, which is something I don't normally do, but God will lead us through this together and we will be blessed. So let's get started. Psalm 1:1:

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.”

God is very clear here, isn't He? Most times people, including Christians, when confronted with difficulty or problems of life turn to everyone and everything for answers to these problems. We turn to doctors, lawyers, educators, some even seek the advice of psychics, fortune tellers and astrologists. We also take counsel from friends and family (saved or unsaved). God is saying this is exactly the opposite of what we should do. Go to God first. Do not leave him as a last resort. God will direct you through his word and Holy Spirit on how each need can and will be met. They may include doctors or lawyers, but let God make that decision. If led by God, these persons or things will become tools. Tools in the hand of the Master are a great thing. The obvious exclusions would be psychics, fortune tellers and astrologists. These things are not godly and only bad and destructive counsel can come from them. In this verse we are instructed to not practice sin or agree with the scornful or mockers, but to live a life of faith in God. Now, let's continue to Psalms 1:2:

“But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

You see church!! Our delight should be in the Word of God. Jesus was our example here. He was always meditating on what the Father desired of him and we should follow that example. Always put our trust in God!! When we do these things, Psalms 1:3 tells us how we will be. Let's read it together:

“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

The beauty of a tree planted by water is that its roots are always watered and become deep and strong. So no matter what storms come, the tree will survive and often times grow stronger. Are you getting the picture yet, church? Let your roots be deep into God. He will protect you and you will be able to weather all the storms of life that come against you. You will not turn away from God. And because of your faithfulness, the Lord will prosper you in every area of your life. God loves you so much. He will strengthen you in the Spirit. Isn't God great? Let's summarize a bit here: God says to only take Godly counsel. If it doesn't line up with God's Word it is not Godly counsel and is deadly advice. When you do use Godly counsel in your life, you will be strong in God and you will delight in God and his solution to the problems of life. You will be deep rooted in the ways of our heavenly Father. And, because of that, He will prosper and take care of you. Psalms 1:4 however, begins to talk about the misery of the unrighteous; a warning to heed. Psalms 1:4:

“The ungodly are not so; but are like chaff which the wind driveth away.”

My friends, this tells us no matter how rich, famous or powerful the ungodly might be, the Lord considers them as “chaff.” Webster's dictionary describes chaff as “worthless.” Pretty strong words, don't you think? But remember this, God loves them and would save them and give them worth if they would only turn to him and accept his free gift of salvation. You only have to stay “chaff” if you choose to. Psalms 1:5:

“Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.”

This verse clearly shows the ungodly will be judged and be convicted. In other words, he will be separated from God for eternity. Spiritual death is his sentence, the lake of fire his penalty. Something interesting takes place here also. This verse makes a distinction between the ungodly and the sinner. What? I thought they were one and the same, didn't you? The truth is, there are many sinners in church, but very few of the ungodly. It becomes clear the sinners referred to here are those who have been born again, but have returned to the practice of sin. They will not stand in the congregation of the righteous. What an indictment. Let's not be one who is counted as a practicing sinner in the congregation of the righteous.

You see, God imparts his righteousness to us when we accept Christ into our hearts, but we must exercise his righteousness by our actions. It is a process of learning how to live in the righteousness God has provided for us. Psalms 1:6 concludes with the explanation.

“For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous (you see, there is a way of the righteous); but the way of the ungodly shall perish.”

I hope this message has helped you. This is Godly counsel!! Walk in it, my friends, walk in it.

God Bless You,
Bro. Bob

REST FOR YOUR SOUL

Let me start this week's 24/7 week long, online church service by welcoming everyone into this place. You all know by now that we exclude no one from that welcome. This is a safe place filled with peace, love, mercy and grace. The reason we can say this is because Jesus Christ is lifted up in our service. We praise him, we worship him and we glorify him. We come to him with thanksgiving for what he has done for us and for what he will do for you.

This online church ministers to those who are in deep sin and desire a way out. We minister to those who came out of sin by the grace of God, but have fallen back into bondage. We also offer encouragement to all who want to love and serve God, but feel inadequate to do so. And of course, we minister to all who love the Lord and serve him with joy.

You see, we know something that is important for you to know. Regardless of what state of mind you find yourself in today, God loves you and wants you to succeed in this life and forever. Jesus did not come to this earth to be humiliated, beaten, spit upon, called the vilest of names and finally nailed to a cross, stabbed in the side, given vinegar to drink when thirsty so that he could have a best selling book written about him. No my friends, Jesus died as a perfect sacrifice, acceptable to God so you could be saved from your sin. You see, when Jesus came down from heaven to this earth, the whole world was under condemnation of sin. It was not a good inheritance our first parents, Adam and Eve, left us. God in his love for us, knowing that the wages of sin is death, desired us to be able to escape eternal death and have eternal life with him.

Man was incapable of saving himself due to his own sin. So, only one who was without sin could pay the price and save us. That one was and is still today the only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ. Let's look at the scripture pertaining to sin and the wages thereof. Turn with me to Romans 6:23.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Often times when this scripture is quoted, it is about present time sin. But as you can now see, sin has equaled death since the beginning of time. Further proof of this can be found in Romans 5:12.

“Wherefore as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”

It should becoming clear to you how much God really does love you. Through Jesus Christ righteousness is imparted to us. When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, all condemnation is lifted off of you. A heavy burden you have been carrying around with you since birth is dissolved. How great is that? You know church, we make serving God seem like such a task or chore, when in fact God made it so simple for us.

I know there are many of you out there who have been walking around with a heaviness that is impossible to explain. I am talking to both saved and unsaved people right now. I'm telling you this does not have to be. Jesus is calling out to you today. Listen to his word in Matthew 11:28-30. Let's be clear, Jesus is speaking here.

“Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; I am meek and lowly in heart: And ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Let's look at this more closely. Did you notice Jesus did not say “Come unto me some that labor and are heavy laden?” NO – He said ALL. Let me repeat that: ALL!! The invitation has no qualifications. Yet to listen to most so-called Bible experts, you would think hardly anyone qualified. Certainly not anyone who doesn't belong to their denomination or their Bible study group. Jesus is talking to everyone here. Saved and unsaved. All means all. Man's judgmental conditions hold no weight with Jesus. Thus, the invitation – come just as you are. Jesus says in this scripture, learn of me. Where can we do that? That answer is in the Word of God (The Bible). Accept Jesus into your heart and he will give you eyes to see and ears to hear. The Bible will become an open and understandable instruction book of life to you.

Oh yes, we can also learn of Jesus through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. The key being, that when preached to and taught that we turn to the Bible and read it for ourselves. God will confirm his Word to us. Try it and see for yourself. Notice that Jesus said he will give us rest for our souls. Is there anyone out there who needs rest for their souls? In these trying times with oppression, depression, guilt and sorrows all bearing down on us, of course we do. Everyday I see the tension and frustration that are weighing people down so much. It's true that Satan's burden is very heavy, weighing you down in total despair. But Jesus says his yoke is easy and his burden is light. Why is his burden light? Because he takes the weight off of you and puts it on himself, and nothing is too heavy for God.

I pray this is helping you. I want to see the smile return to your face. I desire to hear laughter in place of crying. I want despair to be replaced by hope in your life. I want to see your praise life restored or if you have never praised God for his goodness, I would like to see you accept Jesus into your heart so that you can have the joy of praising God also. All God is asking of you is to accept his love by accepting his Son. You do that and you will be returning God's love to him in the one way that is truly pleasing to him.

To my very special saved brothers and sisters who have walked away from God, I implore you – come back home. Your heavenly Father will not only accept you back, but he will once again bless you with his mercy and grace. His love has never left you!! To the saved one who is worn down by the trials of this world, lay down the devil's yoke and burden. It will kill you. Please lay that burden down now. Trust God again. It's time you gave your soul a rest and it's time you accept the love of the Lord in your life again. Anyone who says you can't do this is lying to you. To the unsaved, listen to me and listen very carefully. This may be the last invitation to accept Christ you may ever have. But know this, whether it is or isn't, without Jesus there is only spiritual death in store for you. God is offering you eternal life today. The only question is, will you accept the wages of sin which is death or will you accept Jesus Christ into your heart and be given eternal life.

My e-mail is Brotherbob@TheSpiritofWisdom.org. If I do not hear from you, I will know your answer. To everyone, this message is heart felt. I pray it helped you. We have talked today about condemnation and life and death. Let's turn to Romans 8:1-2, Paul is speaking here:

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”

Does that sound good to you? It sure does to me.

God Bless You,
Bro. Bob
