GOD'S WISDOM IS ETERNAL

Once again, we have the privilege to minister to you the love, mercy and grace of our Heavenly Father, through His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Each day, as I pray and lift you up to the Father, I am thankful for the love of God that He has given me for you. My prayer for you is always for eternal life, wisdom, understanding, healing (both mental and physical) and deliverance from all demonic oppression.

You might say “Bro. Bob, do you really pray these things for me?” The answer, my friends, is a definite and truthful “Yes.” When I say welcome to your 24/7 week long online church service, we welcome everyone in this place, that is exactly what I mean. This ministry is built on a foundation of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. We know He died and arose from the dead as a perfect sacrifice for our sins, purifying us and making it possible that we may be saved and have eternal life with our Heavenly Father and our savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Our ministry name, The Spirit of Wisdom Ministries, came out of the book of Ephesians and is our prayer for you. Wisdom is only obtained through the Word of God (the Bible). Man's wisdom is temporary, but God's wisdom is eternal. Please turn to Ephesians 1:16-17. This was the apostle Paul's prayer for the believers at Ephesus and is also our prayer for you.

(I) Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.”

The spirit of wisdom is the Holy Spirit illumination of the Word of God. When you accept or have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you can ask God to give you eyes to see and ears to hear, spiritually speaking. As God grants your request, you will see that unlike before you will now be able to understand the words and intent of the Bible. The Word of God will become alive to you and yes, my friends, you will even be able to understand the King James version; putting to rest the lies of the devil and men that do not know any better.

As the spirit of wisdom begins to operate in your life, your understanding of God, through His Son Jesus, will be increased. Your future will become brighter than you ever imagined. Paul intended this prayer for the believers of his time. When I pray this prayer, I intend it for believers and nonbelievers alike. Why? Because I expect the nonbelievers that I witness and minister to will accept Jesus into their heart. My friends, I believe in the power of prayer, don't you?

I believe God wants you to have wisdom and understanding of His Word so you can be victorious over the devil, the world system which is ruled by sin, and the flesh which desires to sin. As believers, God has given us supernatural ability to be over comers right here in the earth. But, that power is only obtained and kept by maintaining our faith and trust in the finished work of Jesus and His sacrifice for us on the cross. Maintaining our faith gives the Holy Spirit latitude to work in our behalf.

So let's bring this all down to how this effects us today. Wisdom which comes from the Bible leads us to understanding of God's direction and way of life. Proverbs 4:5 helps point this out:

“Get wisdom, get understanding; forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.”

What is being instructed here, is when you get wisdom, understanding will come along also. However, do not decline or back away from God's Word or both understanding and wisdom will leave you. So, a word to the wise: Use the understanding and wisdom God gives you and keep using it. Do not back away from the Word of God so that things may stay well with you.

Now, with understanding comes ability; the God-given ability to live holy and righteous. What will that do for you? It will allow God to work through you. God will lead and guide you through all the trials and tribulations of life. Wisdom and understanding of God's Word will help you in every decision you make in life. How many times have I told you that the Bible is the direction book of life?

I believe the lack of wisdom of previous generations has led us to the problems and difficulties of life we now face. Man sometime ago made decisions to lean on the wisdom of philosophers, politicians, educators and false religions. There was a time when parents told their children, from early age to adulthood, stories about God and His goodness. That was wise!! What changed? The stories changed, my friends. Now, the stories are of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy. In today's world, children know more about Harry Potter and witches than they do about Jesus and the wondrous work He did for us. That, my good people, is not wise.

God's wisdom will assist you in making correct decisions in every facet of your life; money, relationships, employment choices, what churches to attend, what preachers to listen to and what preachers to run from. Are you getting the picture, church? Can you see why I pray that you would receive the spirit of wisdom? This is good preaching. Why? Because God is in this message.

There are many scriptures that back up what I am saying about wisdom. Let's look at a few. Proverbs 3:13:

“Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.”

Do you want to be happy? Find wisdom and understanding!! Be sure, however, the wisdom you obtain is from the Word of God. Man's wisdom is temporary and will eventually desert you. Let's look at Proverbs 3:5-8.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel and marrow to thy bones.”

Do not these scriptures from the Word of God, back up what I have been saying in this message? Let's be wise this week. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Use Godly wisdom and lean on the understanding God provides for you. Whatever you do, follow the wisdom of the Lord and not the faulty wisdom of man or yourself. If the wisdom you obtain is not based on the Word of God, it isn't wisdom at all, but foolishness. Godly wisdom and understanding can lead you into good health. Isn't that what the Word says? There is so much more I could say on this subject and I will do just that in future messages. Just know this, my friends, God loves you and He desires you have and operate in His wisdom and understanding. Remember, man's wisdom is temporary, but God's wisdom is eternal. Which one do you want to abide in?

God Bless You,
Bro. Bob

Jesus... Our Strong Foundation

This has been an exciting week for the Spirit of Wisdom Ministries. The culmination of two weeks of messages that pointed out the importance of renewing your mind to the Word of God. Also, the revelation in written and in audio that God loves you the best has had a real impact on many of our online church viewers. It has also had a big impact on this preacher of the Gospel. With that in mind, let me welcome you to this weeks 24/7 week-long online church service. Everyone is welcome in this place.

The whole point of the last two previous messages has been to invite non-believers to come to Jesus, and for believers to begin to walk in the faith they now profess. This is a very different time on the earth, my friends. There is difficulty on every side. Crime, greed, perversion, selfishness, false religions, wars, and rumors of wars. Natural disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes, and such. Take a good look, my friends, where it is supposed to be cold, it is warm or hot. Where the temperatures are supposed to be hot, it is cold. It seems like everything is upside down and turned inside out, doesn't it?

If there ever was a time that called for a strong foundation and stability, this is it. Wouldn't you agree? Our premise and, in fact, the truth of the Word, is that Jesus is that foundation. This is the reason we have stressed that believers must study and be doers of the Word so their life will be built on a strong foundation of love, mercy, and grace.

It is also the reason we welcome everyone in these online church services. We want unbelievers to enter into this place. We want you here regardless of what sins you are committing or what you feel or what you say about God. Why? So we can point you to the truth about who Jesus is and what he did for you. We know if you give yourself a chance, the Word of God will pierce your heart and you will realize the only stability and true foundation of life can only be found in Jesus Christ, the Son of our Heavenly Father.

Let's turn to Luke 6:47-48 and see what this loving Jesus has to say. Jesus is speaking here:

“Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will show you to whom he is like: he is like a man which built a house and digged deep, and lay the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.”

So, what is Jesus saying here my friends? He is saying very simply and with strong conviction for you to come to him!! He says, in affect, “listen to me!! Hear what I am saying, but don't just hear what I am saying, do them!” Why? So when the floods of life try to overwhelm you, they will not be able to because your life will be founded on a rock and who is that rock? The answer is Jesus!!

This is the reason I'm sure, that God has impressed on me so strongly to encourage all that are believers to really live your faith. This is no time to play patty cakes with the world and its sinful ways, is it? Well, I'm asking the question. What is your answer?

Jesus went on in Luke 6:49 to explain what the alternative to his previous instructions would be:

“But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without foundation built a house upon the earth: against which the stream did beat vehemently and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.”

That, my friends, is a warning by Jesus given out of love for you. It is because Jesus loves you that he is telling you these things. Come to Jesus, hear his sayings, be a doer of the Word. Nothing can defeat you. Or, do not come to Jesus, do not hear his words, do not do what he says. Then nothing can save you from the floods of life. It is because we love you that we come to you week after week after week to present Jesus and the Word of God to you so you can build your life on the only true foundation of life, Jesus Christ!!

I know we have repeated this to you in two different ways today. This shows you how important we feel it is for you to grasp and understand this truth. I guess the real thing I am saying is really, just be who you are meant to be. If you call yourself a Christian believer, the first thing to do is to really check yourself and make sure your profession of faith in Jesus is sincere and true. If your conclusion is your love and faith in Jesus is true, begin to talk, walk, and act like it. You now have the ability to truly be yourself. A son or daughter of the living God. Learn what God wants to teach you in the Bible. Begin to say and agree with God about everything in your life.

Do not be ashamed of the Gospel. When you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you did not just add on something to your life. You replaced your own life with the new and better life of God. Do you not understand this? This revelation can change your life for the better. Paul said in Romans 1:16:

“For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power unto salvation. What a statement, my friends. Study the Bible, learn the Gospel, and receive power to overcome all the tribulations of life. God wants you to have victory on this Earth, through his Son Jesus. You as a believer have obtained this victory. Now, begin to proclaim it. I am trying to encourage you, my friends, to live up to your God-given ability and potential.

This can not be done by keeping one foot in the world and one foot in the kingdom of God. No, no, no! Jump in with both feet. I guarantee if you do this, your tears will turn into laughter! Your weakness will become strength in Jesus! Your outlook on life will be brighter. Your ability to affect people for good will increase. Your love for your fellow man will flow out of you in sincerity and in action.

God loves you so much, he really does want the best for you. Salvation, healing, and deliverance are yours. Grab on to it! Cherish it! Don't let it go! Proclaim it to anyone who will listen. This is your new life. Live it to the fullest. Great things are ahead for you.

God Bless You,

Brother Bob

GOD LOVES YOU THE BEST.....PART TWO

May God bless everyone who enters into this place this week. Salvation, healing both physical and mental, and deliverance from sin and oppression from devilish or demonic forces are available to you through your acceptance of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of our heavenly Father, the God above all gods.

This is what the Spirit of Wisdom Ministry preaches, teaches and believes. We welcome you to this week's 24/7, week long online church service. Everyone is welcome in this place.

You know, the way we ended last week's service just will not let me go. The Holy Spirit gave me the words that on reflection are so dynamic. So, what were those words again? Simply and truthfully put, I said, God loves you the best. All week long God has repeated those words in my spirit. God loves you the best. You might say, “Bro. Bob, out of all of His creations, how could God love me the best?” The answer is very simple, my friends, He is God!! He has the capacity to love each one of us the best.

Isaiah 49:16 lays the foundation for the statement above. God is speaking here:

“Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.”

You see, my friends, God loves you so much, you are engraved on the palms of His hands. In the scripture above, walls mean your life. God says your life is continually before Him. You call out to God and He just looks at the palms of His hands and says “Oh yes, that is Manny, or Fred, or Kathleen. I love them, and I will help them in their time of need.” You see, God loves each one of us individually. That is one reason He desires to have a personal relationship with you. He made a way for that to be. His name is Jesus!!

Jesus, in God form or man form has the same capacity for love as the Father does. We can safely say – Jesus loves you the best. Yes, Freida and Shaun, Jesus loves you the best. Barbara, Jesus loves you the best. God loves us so much that His son, Jesus, endured the cross for us. How do I know this? Turn to Hebrews 12:2.

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

What was that joy, my friends? It should be obvious. The joy that was set before Jesus was you and your salvation from sin. What a great Savior we have! As He sat down at the right hand of the throne of God, His sacrifice was fully accepted by God. This was all done for you and you alone. Why? Because God loves you the best.

I believe this to be a very powerful message. I really can't express how much God has dealt with me on this subject this week. Armed with this information and understanding about how God feels about us, should encourage us to live for and to love God back with everything we have in us.

This brings us back to being the best believer we can be, doesn't it? Let's begin once again to speak what God says in our situation or circumstance of life. God wants us to succeed in life. We can do that!! It is possible, you know. Because of God's love for us, we can be conquerors in this life, right here on this earth.

Please turn with me to Romans 8:37, Paul speaking:

“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

This scripture clearly backs up what the Holy Spirit has been saying through me this week, my friends. The reason we are destined to be conquerors in this life is because we have accepted the Lord Jesus in our hearts and we are conquerors through Him. This scripture showed us what? That God loves us, that's what. Are you getting this yet, church? It gets even better. Paul goes on to say, in Romans 8:38-39:

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Doesn't this prove to you that God loves you the best? None of the above things can take God's love away from you. But, be careful my friends, that you, yourself do not begin to separate yourself from the love of God. God's love for you is constant and consistent, but is your love for God constant and consistent? It can be, you know.

God will not separate His love from us, but we can definitely separate ourselves from His love. My advice and warning to you, is please, do not do that. I recently preached a message entitled, Staying in the Word; a message designed to encourage believers to read the direction Book of Life (the Bible). Why? Because, all through that book God's love for us is shown over and over again. The Word of God gives us warnings about people and things that would interfere or try to disrupt our relationship with Him. All through the Bible, directions are given to guide us through the pitfalls and traps that Satan has laid out for us to separate us from our heavenly Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ.

The last three messages have been about the love of God and how to be a doer of the Word. As believers, let's show God and our fellow man we really do believe God. We really are not the same as we were before Jesus came into our life. Let's love God the same way He loves us. Let's love God the best!!!

God Bless You,
Bro. Bob

GOD LOVES YOU THE BEST

Just a reminder, to use our new audio feature, click on the "play" button above. This makes it possible to listen to the message as well as read it.

What a great response we had to the addition of audio to our online church service. God is blessing this ministry with new ideas and the know-how to reach more and more people for Jesus. Welcome everyone, and you know by now we emphasize “everyone,” to your week long online church service.

This ministry is here for one reason and one reason only; to point all who enter in to the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ. No matter what direction we start in, we always end up returning to our mission of presenting Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. To the unbeliever, or those in doubt, we present the love, mercy and grace of God and encourage you to come to Jesus, the only begotten son of God. Why? Because God loves you and because He has given us a special love for you also. God does not want you to perish and be separated from Him forever. No, my unbelieving friends, God wants to promote you from just being a creation of His to being a son or daughter who will live with Him forever. How can I say that?

Please turn with me to John 3:16. This is one of the best known scriptures in the Bible and also it's one of the scriptures taken most lightly. That should not be the case, but I'm afraid it is so. Okay, have you found John 3:16 yet? Let's read it together:

“For God so loved the world, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

So, who is saying this? Bro. Bob? Some well known TV preacher? One of the two hundred and fifty seminaries in America? A Baptist? A Pentecostal? A Methodist? No, my friends, Jesus himself said this to Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews during the time of Jesus' life on the earth. Let's continue with the words to Nicodemus, which are the same words for us today. John 3:17-18.

“For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: But he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God.”

Unbelievers, let me leave you for a minute to talk with the believers. Take note, my believing friends. We as believers are to do as Jesus did. We are not here to condemn or judge our fellow man or women, but to help them by pointing them to Jesus. You cannot preach love, mercy and grace yet show hatred, contempt and judgment.

Do you understand now, my unbelieving friends? God, the creator of all, sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die on an old rugged cross, to take thirty-nine stripes on His back for your healing of mind, body and spirit. He was spit on, pierced in His side with a Roman soldier's sword, given vinegar to drink while thirsty. All this, He did for you, my friends. He took all of the sins of the world, past, future and present on Himself, substituting Himself for you and me. He died and was buried for three days. But then, He arose from the dead and ascended to heaven. He sprinkled His blood on the mercy seat and God accepted His sacrifice as the only perfect sacrifice. He made a way for us to be saved from our own sin and to have eternal life, never to be separated from God again by sin or anything else.

Oh yes, unsaved ones! Jesus did all of this just for you. Salvation is a free gift from God for you, but it took Jesus to pay the price for it. Don't you think it is time to give it up? Aren't you tired of the direction you are going in? I feel the emptiness in you, so you must be overwhelmed with it. Come to Jesus now. Let God embrace you and welcome you home. I am waiting to hear from you. E-mail me today. Let me know if you are ready to accept Jesus into your heart. I will definitely get back to you and I will help you to ask Jesus into your life. Our e-mail address is BrotherBob@TheSpiritofWisdom.org; or just do this! Right now say “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins. Please forgive and cleanse me. I repent and turn away from sin. I believe in my heart that Jesus arose from the dead and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is my savior and I make Him Lord of my life. Amen.” Now, call someone and tell them the good news - also, e-mail me right away so I can rejoice with you!

Now, let's turn our attention to the believers who are worshiping with us today. Last week, we talked about renewing our minds to the Word of God, didn't we? What does the renewing of the mind do for you? Very simply, it helps you to enjoy the fruit of your salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no doubt that when you truly accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, an instant change takes place. However, sometimes old habits are hard to break, aren't they? The first part of change is being willing to change. That is why the renewing of your mind is so important. The Apostle Paul talks about the “old man,” you know, the old you, before conversion; riddled with sin and thoughts that were not of God. He also talked about “the new man,” you know, the new you, following conversion. What does Paul say to help you change your old ways and thoughts, which was something you could not do before accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life?

Let's take a look and see what he has to say. Please turn to Ephesians 4:22-25.

"That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lust; “And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; (Paul wouldn't have said to do this if it was impossible to do) And that you put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: For we are members one of another.”

There are three basic instructions for believers here. First, renew your mind. Second, put on the new man. Yes, that's right. You have to consciously, on-purpose decide to put on the new man you have become. Third, put away lying!! Both to others and yourself. The difficulty is not in doing these things, but in making the decision. We want you to have a victorious, joyful life in Christ, my friends. That is the reason we are bringing these things out to you. Now, let's continue in the Word of God, Ephesians 4:26-27.

“Be ye angry, and sin not: Let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.”

You see, my friends, there is a scripture that says work our your own salvation. How do you do that, you might ask? Well, that is what renewing your mind to the Word of God is all about. Please turn to Philippians 2:12.

“Wherefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”

Listen to me!! I know I have put a lot on you today, but in fact all I have pointed out to you is how to live a successful, joyful life. Believe on Jesus!! Renew your mind by reading the Bible. Decide to do what the Word of God says and then do it!! Not quite as hard as it all sounded, is it?

I love all who enter into this place and even better than that, God loves you!! He would not ask me to share these things with you if He didn't love you. Let's be the believers we really want to be. We are over comers in Christ, so let's begin to act like it. This message is not just for new believers, but for everyone: Unbelievers, new believers, old believers. You can have everything God wants you to have. Accept Jesus into your heart and truly believe in Him. He really does love you the best!!

God Bless You,
Bro. Bob
